Macfarlane Van der Heul work collaboratively with our clients to design homes that are an authentic reflection of who they are and how they want to live.
Designing a home can be daunting, but we are as committed to making the process enjoyable for our clients as we are to their satisfaction with the end results. For us, it is as much about the pleasure of creating as it is about the creation.
We have a passion for sourcing and we blend vintage with contemporary, high end with high street and classic with quirky to create designs that are as unique as our clients. We eschew trends in favour of quality and craftsmanship to create homes that will stand the test of time.

The Studio

Macfarlane Van der Heul is a London based interior design studio. Founders, Elizabeth Macfarlane and Eva van der Heul, met studying interior design at the renowned KLC School of Design in Chelsea.
Elizabeth was born in Canada and Eva in The Netherlands. They now both live with their families in London and bring their international backgrounds as well as an English design education to their work.
Having both started their working lives as lawyers, Elizabeth and Eva share an approach to the practice of design that is distinguished by professionalism and integrity.
Macfarlane Van der Heul’s services encompass interior design, decoration and art consultancy. They have worked on contemporary and period homes both in London and the English countryside.
